Interfacing to POS
Three methods available:
1. The Eclipse and Imatic systems are ready to interface
using the standard protocols used by most POS
software companies. This two-way communication
between the POS or cash register and the dispensing
system is achieved using a standard Rs-232 null
modem cable.
2. The Eclipse ID is also equipped with the new Auper
universal debit/credit interface. This interface
forces bartenders to order their drinks first (credit) at
which time they are sent to the Eclipse ID which queues the drinks to serve in memory.
Only drinks received in the queue list will be released (debit) by the system. 256 products, 4 pour sizes and up to 100 mixed cocktails can be programmed in the Eclipse. See demo below.
This interface will work with most POS and cash registers.
3. The Liquor and Draft Manager POS sales reconciliation interface was developped to provide an alternative to the LIVE interfaces mentionned above. Accurate and fast, the software will scan your exported POS sales report and reconcile sales with the corrsponding liquor and beer meter system counters for each shift of the week in a few mouse clicks. This method is often prefered by bartenders as the liquor system is free to pour any time.
